See what happened to your audio.

Audio goes to Lytly's backend and its speech provider for transcription only. It is discarded before the request completes, and the app returns the timestamps.

Transcript history is off by default. Turned on, it is kept 14 days and deletable from Settings.

Small on purpose.

A window the size of a note, an indicator that stays out of the way, and a tray icon. That is the whole app.

Answered before you download.

Windows already has voice typing. Why this?

It is fine for basic dictation in the languages it has. Lytly is built for mixed speech across eight languages, lands text in the language you choose, supports a custom dictionary and spoken commands, and returns an audio-discard receipt with every request.

Is my audio kept anywhere?

No. Audio is processed inside the request and is not written to Lytly's audio storage. The app returns the receive, transcription and discard timestamps.

Do I need an account?

No. Download it and use five minutes of dictation a day without giving an email address or a card. An email raises that to thirty.

Can I mix languages in one sentence?

Yes, that is what it is built for. Speech recognition still makes mistakes, so review names and anything important before sending.

Put your next sentence at the cursor.
